Dubai-based Aleph Hospitality has been selected as the management company for Best Western Plus The Athena Hotel in Kampala, Uganda.  

This is the third hotel contract signed by the company in Uganda.

Aleph Hospitality founder and managing director Bani Haddad added: “Seven years ago, when we identified a gap in the market for independent hotel management companies, I could not have imagined that today we would be managing 12 hotels in Africa, with many more properties in the pipeline.”

Aleph Hospitality operates properties as a white label operator for independently branded hotels or on a franchise basis for branded properties.

The independent hotel management firm plans to operate 50 hotels in the Middle East and Africa by 2026.

In February this year, Aleph Hospitality secured a management contract for Masheda Palms in Buyala town and A’lure Hotel & Suites in Kampala.

This contract marked Aleph Hospitality’s entry into the Ugandan market.
