Hospitality technology company Amadeus has announced the expansion of its services into the leisure travel market with the launch of Amadeus Leisure Connect.  

This new offering aims to unify and streamline hotel content distribution, connecting hoteliers and travel sellers throughout the booking process. 

Leisure Connect combines three products, namely Private Agreements, Amadeus Value Hotels, and the Amadeus Travel Platform.  

This integration is designed to deliver a more connected traveller experience, enable personalisation, and optimise distribution strategies for those selling leisure travel. 

Amadeus Hospitality Distribution vice-president Mirja Sickel said: “The key concept behind the launch of Amadeus Leisure Connect is ‘hotel selling made simple’.

Within Amadeus Leisure Connect, these components work together enabling sellers to drive profitability, optimise operations, and deliver tailor-made offerings to leisure travellers. 

For hotel providers, Leisure Connect offers inventory management, optimised pricing strategies, and ensured rate parity.  

The platform provides a suite of services, from content hosting to payment handling and innovative analytics, all aimed at attracting the leisure traveller. 

Launch partners of Amadeus Leisure Connect are claimed to value the solution for its scalability, speed to market, and ability to secure exclusive deals.

Earlier this week, online travel platform Fliggy broadened its partnership with Amadeus by joining Amadeus Value Hotels.
