Continuing police presence and engagement

Dyfed-Powys Police have reported that no additional arrests have been made at the Stradey Park Hotel since Sunday’s incidents.

Officers have chosen to remain at the scene, continuing to engage with all parties involved. Their presence aims to uphold peaceful protest and ensure the safety and well-being of both the protesters and the local community.

Arrival of asylum seekers imminent

Despite the protests and disturbances, plans are still underway for the arrival of the asylum seekers at the Stradey Park Hotel.

The imminent influx of individuals seeking refuge necessitates careful coordination and support to ensure a smooth transition and provide necessary assistance to those in need.

Efforts are therefore being made to address concerns raised by the community while emphasising the importance of empathy and compassion in accommodating those seeking asylum.
