Amazon has announced its new product, Alexa for Hospitality, which will help hotels, vacation rentals, and other hospitality locations to deliver a new experience of voice assistance to their guests.

By using Amazon Echo, guests can ask Alexa for hotel information; contact the hotel for guest services; make requests such as room service or housekeeping; play music in their room and more.

It will also enable guests to control and adjust lights, thermostats, blinds, and TVs to their individual preferences.

Alexa for Hospitality will enhance guest engagement for hotels by offering seamless voice-first experiences to guests to access services and amenities during their stay.

It is available to hospitality providers on an invitation basis.

Marriott International has introduced the new Alexa experience at select properties in Marriott Hotels, Westin Hotels & Resorts, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, Aloft Hotels, and Autograph Collection Hotels starting this summer.

Marriott International vice president for customer experience innovation Jennifer Hsieh said: “Marriott has a long track record of innovating for our guests, and we’re thrilled to be among the first to offer Alexa for Hospitality.
