ASAI Hat Yai will be situated on Samchai Road in the centre of Hat Yai.
The hotel is planned to house 116 rooms configured for various types of travellers, ranging from standard accommodation for individuals and couples to larger units with bunk beds aimed at families and groups.
Planned facilities include an all-day dining venue, café and bar, co-working areas, meeting spaces and a fitness centre.
In Phuket, ASAI Patong Phuket will be located in the heart of Patong.
The property is expected to offer around 85 rooms and a ground-floor café and social area, as well as a rooftop pool and fitness amenities.
Dusit International Group CEO Chanin Donavanik said: “Today’s travellers are increasingly looking beyond traditional hotel stays. They want places that reflect the character of their destination, provide opportunities for connection, and deliver meaningful experiences without compromising on quality or value.
“ASAI Hotels was created with these evolving expectations in mind, and the signing of ASAI Hat Yai and ASAI Patong Phuket demonstrates our confidence in the long-term potential of Thailand’s lifestyle hospitality segment.
“Both destinations have their own unique energy and strong growth prospects, and we look forward to introducing hotels that connect guests with the communities, culture, and experiences that make each location special.”
Beyond Thailand, Dusit plans to extend the ASAI brand further in Southeast Asia.
ASAI Gamuda Cove is slated to open in the third quarter of 2026, marking the brand’s entry into Malaysia.
The hotel will be part of the 1,530-acre Gamuda Cove township near Kuala Lumpur.
ASAI is also due to enter the Philippines with ASAI Oslob Cebu, expected to open in late 2027, followed by ASAI Camaya Coast in late 2028.
In April 2025, Dusit International signed an agreement to operate the new Dusit Hotel AG Park, Chengdu, expanding its China footprint.
