Hotel Montagne in Sweden has invested in the equipment of Gympak, a wellness company, to improve fitness experience for guests.
The hotel has incorporated Equipment Boxes, a flexible training solution which facilitates convenient workouts for guests either in their rooms or in the natural surroundings.
The boxes feature a yoga mat, medicine ball, resistance bands, foam roller, and ab wheel, allowing comfortable exercise sessions without the necessity of a traditional gym space.
The boxes can be integrated into specific rooms or suites, or they can be part of a specialised wellness package.
Montagne hotel manager Elin Örnfjäll said: “We want our guests to be able to combine relaxation with movement. Gympak’s boxes allow us to offer high-quality training and relaxation without compromising our environmental profile.”
The hotel, which established in 1862, reopened in 2023 after significant refurbishments.
The refurbished property boasts 12 rooms and Restaurant Montagne.
In addition, the hotel is located in proximity with Askersunds Golf Club, which overlooks the Lake Vättern.
Guests can also hike Tiveden National Park or swim at Hargebaden, also referred to as the Riviera of Närke.

Earlier this month, Home Hotel Gabelshus in Oslo also integrated Gympak wellness solutions into its service offerings.
Similarly, Skåvsjöholm in Sweden collaborated with Gympak to offer outdoor training facilities including equipment boxes.
