Hilton has expanded its presence in Brazil with the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton branded hotel in Foz do Iguaçu, a city in the state of Paraná.

Opened on 9 November, the new property is managed by Viale de Hotéis based in Iguaçu, with the national support of Atlantica Hospitality International.

DoubleTree by Hilton hotel provides more than 250 guest rooms and upscale suites, including the Presidential Suite.

The hotel also features outdoor pools, spa, tennis and beach tennis courts, a football 7 court, a fitness centre and a multi-sport court. It also has a kids club and separate children’s pool for young guests.

In September this year, the brand opened a new beachfront resort in Damai Laut, Lumut, Malaysia.

In a separate development, Genuine Hospitality, announced the opening of 121-room Tru by Hilton Naperville Chicago, the first Tru by Hilton in Illinois, US.

Located near downtown Naperville, Illinois, the new hotel features a multifunctional fitness centre, Wi-Fi, a heated indoor pool, a 24/7 retail market offering snacks, light meal options, and single-serve wine and beer.
