Hotel industry leader Hilton is looking ahead at its presence in Canada following a year of rapid multi-brand development.

Hilton’s Canadian portfolio currently spans 180 open hotels and 28,000 rooms across 11 brands.

With 20 deals signed in 2023, Hilton’s Canada pipeline now consists of 90 locations and more than 11,000 rooms. It will introduce Spark by Hilton and Motto by Hilton into the country in 2024.

The company will soon exceed 200 hotels in Canada and plans to increase its portfolio by 50%.

Up to 2028, Hilton plans to triple its presence in the lifestyle category with new hotels planned for Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and Niagara Falls.

Focused-service brands continue to fuel Hilton’s growth in Canada, representing more than 60% of the company’s pipeline in the country. In 2023, Hilton opened five focused-service hotels.
