Hospitality company Hilton has opened its fourth location in Maldives, further strengthening its footprint in the archipelagic country.

The new location, Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa, also marks the debut of the Hilton’s flagship brand in the Maldives.

The all-villa resort is located in Amingiri Island in the North Malé Atoll. It is owned by Amingiri Holdings and managed by Hilton. It can be accessed via a 20-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport.

Hilton Maldives Amingiri has 109 beach and overwater villas, each offering a private pool and a view of the lagoon.

The villas also feature floor-to-ceiling windows, ocean-facing bathtubs, indoor and outdoor rain showers among other facilities.

The overwater pool villas lead directly to the island’s lagoon, while the beach villas give direct access to a deck swing and a gazebo on the shore.
