Hyatt Hotels has opened Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres, its newest addition to the Inclusive Collection within the World of Hyatt in Cancun, Mexico.

This 507-room, adults-only resort marks a significant expansion of Hyatt’s leisure offerings in the Mexican Caribbean, with plans for further growth this year.

The resort’s launch will occur in three phases over the next six months, culminating in the full operation of its spa, fitness centre, and theatre by this June.

The design of Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres incorporates neutral tones and natural materials such as wood and stone, alongside handcrafted furnishings by local artists.

This resort offers staggered suite configurations, providing guests with views of the surrounding landscapes and the Caribbean Sea.

All guests can avail of the Unlimited-Luxury inclusions such as 24-hour room service, an in-room mini bar, and a variety of entertainment and dining services.

The resort has nine restaurants, offering local and international cuisine.

Guests can enjoy authentic Mexican dishes at El Patio, Asian cuisine in traditional Japanese Tatami rooms, and Italian dining at Portofino, which has an extensive wine cellar.

Eight bars and lounges provide premium beverages. Special culinary experiences such as the Chef’s Table, tequila and wine tastings are also available for booking.

Among the resort’s amenities are four large swimming pools, including two oceanfront infinity pools, a Preferred Club pool, and ten smaller pools for swim-out suite guests, a 29,000ft² Secrets Spa, along with a fitness facility that is set to open this summer.

Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres general manager Erik van der Kaaij said: “We take great pride in further solidifying the Inclusive Collection’s position in Mexico through the debut of Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres.

“We offer our guests the breathtaking views and romantic inclusions they have come to expect at a Secrets resort, while differentiating ourselves with our secluded location that provides a serene atmosphere of relaxation without sacrificing opportunities to venture off property, with a plethora of nearby options to explore some of Mexico’s hidden gems.”
