Affiliates of Hyatt Hotels and CL Capital have signed a franchise agreement for the Oxford Witney Hotel in the UK.
The 130-room property is expected to join Hyatt’s JdV by Hyatt portfolio by the end of 2026, marking the lifestyle brand’s UK debut.

The hotel will include a restaurant and bar, along with 1,205ft² of flexible meeting and events space that can accommodate up to 90 guests.
Located within walking distance of Witney’s centre, the property is 15 miles (24km) west of Oxford.
It is currently undergoing extensive transformation to “reflect the character and heritage of its surroundings”, Hyatt Hotels said in a statement.
Hyatt UK and Ireland development regional vice-president Anna Corkill said: “Bringing the JdV by Hyatt brand to the UK will be an important milestone for the brand and a natural fit for Witney—a destination with a strong identity and sense of place.
“Together with CL Capital and InnPractice, we are creating a hotel that reflects the character of the local community while giving guests a distinctive new way to experience Oxfordshire.”
The hotel will be operated by InnPractice after its planned conversion to the brand.
InnPractice managing partner Graham Norris said: “This is a landmark moment for both InnPractice and for the JdV by Hyatt brand’s upcoming arrival in the UK.
“Oxford Witney Hotel is a compelling setting for the brand’s debut: a characterful market town with its own identity, strong connections to Oxford and the Cotswolds, and real potential to become part of the local social fabric.”
Last month, Hyatt and Coporgest signed agreements for the development, branding and management of Park Hyatt Comporta and Park Hyatt Comporta Residences in Portugal.
