Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the opening of Ginger Bharuch, its first property in Bharuch, a city in the Indian state of Gujarat.
Located near the Narmada River, the new property boasts 55 rooms and other guest amenities including an all-day diner catering a mixture of global and local cuisines.
Ginger Bharuch also offers a conference room, a banquet hall and a fitness centre.
The property is strategically located within driving distance from Surat and Vadodara airports, as well as Bharuch Railway Station.
It is also close to major manufacturing hubs in Ankleshwar, Jhagadia and Dahej.
Ginger Bharuch is claimed to be a suitable destination for bleisure travellers.

“One of the oldest cities in the country and a key industrial centre, with the opening of Ginger Bharuch, we now have 16 operational hotels across brands in the state.”
The new opening takes the number of hotels in the company’s portfolio in the state of Gujarat to 19 under various brands including Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta and Ginger.
The company also has three properties under development.
In September this year, IHCL expanded its Ginger brand portfolio in the country with the signing of a new property in the state of Sikkim.
Last month, the hospitality company opened Vivanta Meghalaya, Shillong, its first property in the country’s North-eastern state.
