IHG Hotels & Resorts has opened a new beachfront hotel under voco brand in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, UAE.

The hotel, named voco Dubai The Palm, features 138 guest rooms and offers easy access to guests to the West Beach Promenade, and only a few steps from the Arabian Gulf.

Located on the picturesque shores of Palm Jumeirah’s West Beach, the hotel offers a private beach to its guests.

It is the IHG Hotels & Resorts’ first hotel on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah.

Scheduled to open in early April, Frenia, a rooftop pool and a Mediterranean lounge bar, will be one of the major attractions of the property.

Frenia will transform the rooftop as the sun sets, offering stunning views of the sea and Ain Dubai, which is the biggest and tallest Ferris wheel in the world.

Maison Mathis, a 24/7 dining space, will open this month. The restaurant will offer European cuisine with emphasis on Belgian‘s rich food culture. The restaurant will offer Sea bass fillet – a delicately seasoned and grilled dish, along with seafood linguini, flavourful clams, prawns, bisque, and fresh calamari.

Furthermore, the property is equipped with a 24-hour fitness centre, day-lit meeting rooms to cater to business meetings.

voco Dubai The Palm also lays emphasis on sustainability and minimising its environmental impact. It has advanced sustainable water system, recycled plastic duvets, and aerated showers to save water usage.

voco Hotels is one of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ 18 brands.

Last month, IHG Hotels & Resorts signed a new Hotel Indigo property in London, and also partnered with hospitality investment and development company Range Developments for a new InterContinental Hotels & Resorts property in Douglas Bay, Dominica.
