IHG Hotels & Resorts in partnership with the HNH Hospitality has opened its second voco brand property in Venice, Italy.

The newly opened hotel, voco Venice Mestre – The Quid, is near the bypass that links Mestre to Venice Marco Polo airport and Venice-Mestre train station.

Designed for both business and leisure travellers, the hotel features 128 guestrooms and a fitness centre with Technogym equipment.

It has a separate gaming area in the lobby, which connects it to the in-house restaurant, allowing the guests to socialise with each other.

In addition, guests have access to a spacious Congress Centre, which comprises of five meeting rooms. The rooms can accommodate up to 170 people.

Besides, each room in the hotel has eco-friendly large size bathroom amenities and the bedding is made of 100% recycled materials.

Currently, voco has 35 hotels operating across the globe and around 36 hotels in the pipeline, expected to open in the next three to five years.

IHG has also opened its first voco brand hotel in New Zealand.
