IHG Hotels & Resorts’ upscale hotel brand voco has opened its first hotel, voco Auckland City Centre, in Auckland, New Zealand.

The new hotel features 201 guest rooms and suites. Each room features sustainable bedding, smart in-room technology, artworks and stylish marble bathrooms with eco-friendly rain showers.

Opened in partnership with Pro-invest Hotels, the voco Auckland City Centre is part of a dual tower development.

The dual-tower development also features a 294-room Holiday Inn Express Auckland City Centre, expected to open later this month.

The ground-floor of the hotel has an Italian all-day dining facility, Mozzarella & Co, which serves a-la-carte, buffet breakfast artisan pizzas and pasta for lunch and dinner, along with beers and cocktails.

In June this year, the voco Auckland City Centre will open its rooftop open deck bar, Bar Albert.

Besides, the hotel offers a dedicated space for organising meetings, conferences and other events. Guests can choose from any of the five meeting rooms of the hotel.

In addition, visitors can avail all the facilities offered by the hotel including bars, lounges, community spaces, among others.
