Voco Hotels, a premium brand owned by IHG, has made its debut in the Netherlands with a seven-storey 204-room hotel.

The property, voco The Hague, features signature voco touches, including bedding made of 100% recycled materials and eco-friendly large size bathroom amenities.

It also comprises a fully equipped gym, as well as allows guest and non-hotel guests to work and play at the hotel’s Play Work area of the lobby.

Voco The Hague consists of the Botanica Kitchen Bar & Lounge, serving fresh local ingredients with an 80% vegetable-based menu, and Ultramarijn Wonderbar.

The hotel is located in the city’s Royal Quarter, which is in proximity to the city’s shops, museums, and heritage sites.

General Manager, Inge van Weert commented on the opening: “This iconic building on the Kneuterdijk has been transformed to be the first voco hotel in the Netherlands, nodding to the brand’s diverse portfolio of hotels located in new and heritage buildings. “voco” means ‘to ‘invite’ or call together’, originating from Latin.
