IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) is expanding its presence in Europe with the signing of new voco hotel in Paris, France.

The new hotel, voco Paris Porte de Clichy, is located in the immediate vicinity of the 17th arrondissement (district).

The property will feature 264 rooms, several advanced food and beverage outlets and meeting spaces.

Slated to open in summer 2023, voco Paris Porte de Clichy will be designed by interior designer and decorator Oscar Lucien Ono.

The hotel, signed in conjunction with Catella Hospitality, marks the second voco property in Paris, after voco Paris Montparnasse, which opened in 2020.

The property will be situated a few minutes from the new Tribunal de Paris and just four stops away from the Musée Du Louvre by Paris Metro.

IHG Hotels & Resorts Europe development VP Willemijn Geels said: “We are thrilled to be adding another voco property to our portfolio in France’s beautiful capital city; voco Paris Porte de Clichy is going to be very special indeed with its eye-catching design.

“We are seeing fast paced growth with voco as it allows owners to quickly convert onto our expert systems, allowing them to benefit from our global scale and maximise their returns.

“This appealing proposition is bolstering our pipeline across Europe and driving significant growth.”

Voco, an upscale brand of IHG, has 15 hotels operating in Europe with another 13 hotels in the pipeline.

The brand, which launched in 2018, has 40 hotels opening properties in more than 25 countries, and 34 more properties in the pipeline.
