Hospitality brand La Quinta by Wyndham is set to open its first hotel in Weifang in Shandong province later this month, marking its debut in China.
The hotel, La Quinta by Wyndham Weifang South, will have 200 rooms and suites.
It will be located adjacent to the Sinomall in the commercial and business district, Fangzi.
The property is designed to suit the needs of both the business and leisure travellers.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Asia Pacific president Joon Aun Ooi said: “The launch of our La Quinta by Wyndham brand in China marks our latest milestone in expanding Wyndham’s multi-brand strategy through attractive and innovative hotel brands across the country.
“There is a strong demand for branded accommodation in emerging cities all across China – including Weifang – which is fast becoming a thriving destination for business and leisure.”
The hotel’s guestrooms and suites feature LED TVs, high-speed internet and bathrooms equipped with rain showers and bathtubs.
Other amenities include an executive lounge, private check-in/check-out, an exclusive meeting room, Fit Lounge, and an 600m2 gym and yoga room, as well as 3,400m2 of conference and banquet space.
Furthermore, guests can experience exceptional dining at three restaurants, namely Xian Café, The Tasty and Xiang Palace.
Joon Aun Ooi added: “The La Quinta by Wyndham Weifang South, with its well-appointed guestrooms and collection of exceptional meeting venues, is set to bring our brand vision to life, and provide our guests with a fantastic leisure or business travel experience.”
La Quinta by Wyndham brand has plans to expand in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Georgia.
