The Hythe, a Luxury Collection Resort, Vail has opened in Colorado, US, following the completion of a $40m transformation programme.
The luxury resort concept is located at the base of Vail Mountain and within walking distance from the Eagle Bahn Gondola.
The transformation project included complete revamp of the hotel’s arrival and lobby experience, renewed outdoor spaces, and addition of four new culinary concepts.
It is owned by real estate investment trust DiamondRock Hospitality and has 344 guestrooms, 22 suites and 16 residences.
Dining venues at the property include farm-to-table dinner concept, Margie’s Haas, which serves contemporary alpine cuisine; the 10th Mountain lobby bar; the grab & go concept Mountain Ration; and Revel Lounge, The Hythe’s lounge bar.
The Hythe boasts 29,000ft2 meeting and event space, which comprises more than 20 alpine-modern style venues and signature Well & Being Spa.
Interiors of the resort were managed by Wilson Ishihara Design.

In June this year, The Luxury Collection entered Hungary with the opening of the Matild Palace, its first property in Budapest, Hungary.
