Media Rotana Hotel, a luxury five-star hotel located in Dubai, has reopened after carrying out sterilisation of all rooms and facilities.
The hotel also adopted stringent health and safety practices as well as conducted necessary medical examinations of the staff before opening the doors.
Situated in the precinct of Barsha Heights, Media Rotana was closed for a brief period due to Covid-19 pandemic.
The hotel comprises 537 rooms and suites, five specialty restaurants and 16 meeting rooms. The property also includes several facilities such as gym, sauna, steam room, temperature-controlled swimming pool and fitness club among others.
Media Rotana has also adopted the ‘Rotana Safe Space’ programme, as part of its preparations to ensure the safety of the guests.
The programme emphasises on providing a contactless experience throughout the guest’s stay as well as focus on continuous cleaning and disinfection practices, reported Trade Arabia.
Once a guest arrives at the location, a concierge team will sterilise the luggage. They can check-in using Rotana app or web browser.
Regular temperature checks will be conducted before entering the hotel, while the frequency of cleaning common places inside the hotel will be increased.
Media Rotana has also trained its employees on social distancing protocols and to avoid close contact.
A new system has also been introduced at the restaurants that will allow guests order food via QR code.
