Hospitality cloud platform Mews has deployed its property management system (PMS) across more than 100 Strawberry Hotels.

These properties comprise various brands and hotel types, including Comfort Hotels, Clarion Collection Hotel, Quality Hotel, Clarion Hotel, and independent hotels within the portfolio.

The platform is expected to provide flexibility, scalability, and security.

Hotels currently using Mews include properties from both the Nordic Hotel Resorts chain and the Kämp Collection Hotels.

The company noted that the implementation has been seamless due to a customised training programme called Train the Trainer.

This programme enables Mews experts within Strawberry to train the employees for a quicker onboarding process.

Mews Marketplace offers the hotel group access to more than 900 integrations.

Strawberry’s diverse brands have different technology needs, and Mews provides each brand with tailored connections through the Mews Open application programming interface.

The hotel group has chosen services including Mews Operations, Mews Guest Journey, Mews Multi-Property, and Mews Payments.

Strawberry executive vice-president Eirik Bogsnes said: “We’ve always had innovation at our core, and it’s clear to us that modern hotel technology is the key to leading the industry in terms of guest experience, efficiency and revenue opportunities.

“Mews is the perfect solution to build a tech stack around, and we’re delighted with how it’s already helped to transform our operations over the last year.”

Strawberry Technology vice-president Kari Anna Fiskvik said: “Mews empowers our teams to work smarter, and spend more time with their guests, while at the same time giving guests the power to define their own stay experience.”

Last week, hotel chain Bilderberg selected Mews’ PMS to enhance its payments and online check-in rates.

Mews currently offers its services to 5,000 customers across more than 85 countries.

Strawberry has more than 225 hotels in the Nordic and Baltic countries.
