Located on Saadiyat Island, the new hotel is slated to open in 2026 at Mamsha Beach.
Nobu Hotel in Abu Dhabi will feature 165 guest rooms and suites, including a Nobu Villa.
The property will boast four food and beverage venues including the first Nobu restaurant in Abu Dhabi offering views of waterfront and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.
Other guest amenities will include an advanced wellness and fitness centre, a swimming pool and event and conference facilities.
In addition, guests will have access to more than 8km of beachfront and exclusive access to Saadiyat Island.
Nobu Hospitality CEO Trevor Horwell said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with such a highly recognised company as ALDAR, one of the most prominent real estate developers in the region, who share our vision for creating remarkable destination projects and lifestyle experiences.
“This is an exciting time for Saadiyat Island, which has become one of the world’s most desirable leisure destinations, and we look forward to offering our Nobu guests access to its incredible landscapes, cuisine, and culture.”
In addition to the new hotel, Nobu and Alder will develop the first branded Nobu Residences in the Middle East.
Located alongside the hotel, the development will offer multi-bedroom sea view residences featuring bespoke amenities, including a gym, a movie screening room, swimming pools, indoor and outdoor play areas and others.
Aldar Properties chief executive officer Talal Al Dhiyebi said: “Our partnership with Nobu is a testament to Aldar’s ability to attract international partners and demonstrates the increasing appeal of Abu Dhabi as a leading destination for international investors and visitors – to be home to the second Nobu Residences worldwide and the first in the Middle East clearly demonstrates this.”
In August this year, Nobu partnered with Asset World Corp for multiple hospitality projects in Thailand.
