Hospitality company Accor has announced the opening of a Novotel hotel in Lubumbashi, marking the midscale brand’s second property in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The 120-room hotel is located in the rapidly developing Golf residential area.

The property boasts three dining destinations, including Chai, which offers a selection of imported tea and local brands.

Brasserie Kipopo, an all-day dining restaurant at the hotel, serves a mix of American and local dishes, while Xpressions, a South African-inspired lounge bar offers cocktails and canapes.

Additional guest amenities at Novotel Lubumbashi include meeting rooms with ALL CONNECT technology, an advanced N’fitness gym, and a swimming pool with views of the city and lake.

The property is a 20-minute drive from the airport and is suitable for business, leisure, or a combination of both.
