
Radisson Hotel Group has opened a new upscale, full-service hotel in in the UNESCO City of Literature, Ulyanovsk, in Western Russia.
Inspired by Scandinavian hospitality, the hotel allows guests to discover the Russian city situated on the banks of the Volga River near cultural attractions, museums and shopping malls.
Radisson Ulyanovsk Russia has been built by transforming an existing hotel. It features 172 rooms and suites, a restaurant, a gallery, a lobby bar, an outside terrace, and a selection of meeting rooms.
The gallery restaurant houses up to 125 guests and serves various Russian and international dishes.
Radisson said the hotel with its location in the historic city center allows guests to enjoy several leisure, retail, restaurants, bars, theaters, and other entertainment options Ulyanovsk has to offer.

In July this year, Radisson Hotel Group expanded its Radisson upscale Scandinavian-inspired brand to Istanbul in Turkey with the opening of two new hotels.
The Radisson Hotel Istanbul Sultanahmet and the Radisson Hotel President Beyazit Istanbul are both ideally located in Istanbul.
