In a statement, RSG said the launch represents a “significant addition” to AMAALA’s lifestyle and hospitality offering. The project is also Nammos’ first resort hotel worldwide.

Nammos Hotels & Resorts CEO Carolyn Turnbull said: “Today is much more than the opening of a hotel. It is the beginning of an entirely new chapter for Nammos.

“We have taken everything people know and love about the brand—its sense of occasion, exceptional hospitality, unforgettable dining and distinctive energy—and reimagined it as a complete resort experience.

“There is nowhere else in the world where Nammos could have made this leap quite like AMAALA, and we are incredibly proud to welcome our very first guests.”

Foster + Partners designed the resort, which has 110 keys and 20 private residences. The residences include one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, as well as a three-bedroom penthouse.

The property’s Nammos Beach Club is located on a private island. Guests can reach it via a boardwalk or private jetty.

The resort also includes Nammos Spa and the Blu Kids Club for children.

Nammos Hotels & Resorts manages the residences. Homeowners have access to the resort’s dining venues, Nammos Beach Club, facilities, and personalised services.

Red Sea Global Group CEO John Pagano said: “Nammos Resort AMAALA strengthens the diversity of experiences available across the destination, bringing the unmistakable energy and spirit of Mykonos to the Saudi Red Sea coast.

“As AMAALA continues to expand with each new opening, the addition of Nammos reinforces our ambition to establish one of the world’s leading luxury lifestyle and wellness destinations.”

Nammos is the sixth resort to open at AMAALA. A further three resorts, along with additional branded residences, wellness facilities, marinas, retail outlets, and dining options, are due to open in the coming months.

Last week, RSG opened the luxury resort Rosewood AMAALA at Triple Bay.
