IHG Hotels & Resorts, in association with property development firm Siam Sindhorn, has opened its new Luxury & Lifestyle brand – Vignette Collection – in Thailand.
The new Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok marks IHG’s first Vignette Collection hotel to launch in Asia.
It has 393 rooms with each having modern comforts that include Fritz Hansen’s drop chairs.
Besides, it comprises the Fitness Centre providing views of the city, as well as the Horizon Pool on the 18th floor.
Located at Langsuan, Bangkok, the new property is well connected to key districts including Sukhumvit, Silom, Siam and Chidlom.
Designed by Eight, the hotel blends contemporary design and local art.
Its lobby area has been designed by P49 Deesign incorporating the concept of the Bangkok Tram.
Furthermore, the hotel has three dining options – the Thai liquor bar Black Cat, Bangkok’78 that serves the city’s famous dishes in a retro-inspired concept, and Sip & Co on the lines of Langsuan’s café culture.
Sindhorn Midtown Hotel general manager Khun Umaporn Vongpipun said: “It has truly been an honour to lead the transition from an independent hotel to become the first property under IHG’s Vignette Collection to open in Asia.
“I am proud of my exceptional team as we bring Sindhorn Midtown into a new era and watch our hotel’s personality shine through with the introduction of our new guest experiences, offering a sense of connection with the heritage of Bangkok.”
