Trump Hotels and Irongate, the owner of the front desk unit, have jointly announced an agreement for the buyout of the hotel management and license agreements for the Trump International Hotel, Waikiki.

This move comes after over a decade of successful operation since the iconic tower opened its doors in November 2009.

Trump Waikiki has been a key player in the hospitality industry, achieving remarkable milestones since its inception. Notable achievements include setting sales records in 2006, and selling over $700 million in residences in a single day.

The hotel consistently offered some of the highest average daily rates in Waikiki, earning the prestigious Forbes five-star designation for ten consecutive years.

It held a firm position among the top three Waikiki hotels on Trip Advisor and stood as the sole Forbes five-star property on the island of Oahu for eight years.

Eric Trump, executive vice-president of the Trump Organisation, expressed gratitude for the partnership with Irongate, acknowledging the dedication and professionalism of the team. He conveyed best wishes to Irongate as they usher the property into its next phase.
