1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 84% in May 2022, registering a 52.27% decline over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed an 8% share, a flat growth over the previous month.

3) Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 4%, registering a flat growth from April 2022.

4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 4%, flat growth over the previous month.

Top five travel & tourism companies in China’s IT recruitment activity in May 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s travel & tourism industry during May 2022 over April 2022.

Booking Holdings posted 15 IT jobs in May 2022 and registered a rise of 7.14% over the previous month, followed by A.P. Moller – Maersk with 7 jobs and a 50% drop. The Walt Disney with 2 IT jobs and Spring Airlines with 1 jobs, recorded an 87.5% decline and a flat growth.

Junior Level job postings dominate in May 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 56%, down by 57.58% from April 2022. Mid Level positions with a 32% share, registered a decline of 42.86% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12% share, up 50% over April 2022.
