UK-based company International Game Technology ’s IT hiring increased by 0.7% in July 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 3.35% in July 2021 when compared with June 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 32.54% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2021, and recorded a 4.15% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops International Game Technology IT hiring in July 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by International Game Technology, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 70.37% in July 2021, and a 7.32% drop over June 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 16.67% in July 2021, and registered a 50% increase. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 5.56% in July 2021, a 50% drop from June 2021.
North America drives IT hiring at International Game Technology
North America emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in July 2021 with a 50% share, which marked a 3.57% drop over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 38.89%, registering a 32.26% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with an 11.11% share and a 200% growth over June 2021.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 37.04% share in July 2021, an 11.11% growth over June 2021. Poland featured next with a 20.37% share, up 22.22% over the previous month. Canada recorded an 11.11% share, decline of 33.33% compared with June 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead International Game Technology IT hiring activity in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 46.3%, down by 39.02% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 31.48% share, a growth of 70% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 22.22% share, up 20% over June 2021.
