Bulgari Hotels and Resorts has opened its latest hotel, the Bulgari Hotel Roma, in Piazza Augusto Imperatore, Italy.

The new property provides 114 guest rooms and suites and was designed by Milan-based architectural studio ACPV Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel.

Bulgari brand ambassadors and celebrities attended the property’s launching ceremony, which began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Bulgari Group CEO Jean-Christophe Babin.

The event included live music performances as well as an exhibition of vintage Bulgari pieces dating back to 1962 and formerly belonging to Elizabeth Taylor.

On the hotel launch, Jean-Christophe Babin said: “The Bulgari hotel in Rome is not just a new gem of the Eternal City. The hotel offers a unique full immersion in a new luxury combining hospitality, arts and craftsmanship, pioneering a new generation of Haute Hospitalité Monuments.

“We are honoured to contribute to the splendour of Rome, home of Bulgari and always an inexhaustible source of inspiration for all its creations. Looking forward and epitomising the inclusive, aspirational and contemporary city of the 21st century.”

Bulgari Hotel Roma general manager Vincenzo Falcone said: “I am delighted to have the honour of opening the Bulgari Hotel Roma, the ninth jewel in the Bulgari crown.

“I look forward to leading my team of world-class professionals to deliver the impeccable service for which the Italian jeweller of hospitality is rightly famous.”
