IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed Holiday Inn Resort PIK2 White Sand Beach, the brand’s first urban beachfront resort in Indonesia.

Slated to open in 2024, the new-build property will offer 180 rooms, suites, lofts and other features including its signature KidSuites and Kids Stay & Eat Free programme.

Holiday Inn Resort PIK2 White Sand Beach will boast a restaurant, two bars, more than 2,600m2 of meeting space, a gym and resort centre and an outdoor pool.

The property also offers indoor and outdoor recreation areas as well as direct access to the beach and many outdoor lifestyle experiences by the beach.

Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is located just a seven-minute ride from the hotel.

IHG will open Holiday Inn Resort PIK2 White Sand Beach in partnership with Indonesian real estate developer Agung Sedayu Group.

The property will be located at PIK2 North Jakarta, a 2,350ha waterfront satellite city in Tangerang district.

In addition to the hotel, the development will house range of F&B establishments, a sports centre and an Islamic financial district.

Currently, IHG operates a network of 25 properties in Indonesia with 11 in the pipeline, including the brand debut of Kimpton and Regent, both in Bali, and Hotel Indigo in Bintan.
