Lemon Tree Hotels has signed for a property, Lemon Tree Hotel Meerut, which is expected to open in the financial year 2025 (FY 2025), The Economic Times reported.
The Lemon Tree Hotels-franchised hotel will be located in the heart of Meerut, in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
The city is known for blending ancient history and military spirit with contemporary vibrancy and is a key centre for the sports goods and musical instruments industries.
Lemon Tree Hotel Meerut will feature 75 well-equipped rooms, along with amenities such as restaurants, a fitness centre, a swimming pool, a spa, and both outdoor and indoor banqueting and conference facilities.
The hotel’s strategic location is complemented by its proximity to Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, which is 90km away, and Meerut railway station, situated 11km from the hotel.
The city’s connectivity is further enhanced by the National Expressway 3 and the upcoming Delhi Meerut RapidX, a Regional Rapid Transport System (RRTS), which will reduce the travel time from New Delhi.
