Marriott International plans to open the new AC Hotel Miami Beach in April 2015, which will be the first property of its brand in South Florida, US.
Featuring 150 rooms, the new hotel is being developed in collaboration with Miami’s Finvarb Group.
Marriott International Lifestyle Brands vice-president Toni Stoeckl said: "Mid Beach offers the perfect blend of culture, architecture and nightlife that embodies the urban soul of the AC Hotels brand.
"We will create meaningful experiences for guests to connect with this exciting city through distinctive local partnerships with prominent personalities."
The hotel blends European style, with its design inspired by the fashion houses of Milan. Miami-based Kobi Karp Architecture is providing architectural services for the hotel.
New AC Hotel Miami Beach will feature AC Lounge, which will offer craft beers, wines and cocktails complemented with a selection of small tapas-style plates inspired by the brand’s Spanish roots.
The seven storey-hotel will comprise AC Kitchen, which will offer a selection of pastries, artisan cured meats and cheeses.
It will also feature AC Library, fitness centre and 1,000ft² of meeting space, in addition to on-site parking, complimentary Wi-Fi, a rooftop pool and beach access.
AC Hotels by Marriott is a lifestyle brand of Marriott International, which includes around 75 hotels throughout Spain, Italy, Portugal and France, along with New Orleans.
