US-based company Bally’s IT hiring rose 2.2% in September 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 7% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 38.21% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2022, and recorded a 2.57% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Bally’s IT hiring in September 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Bally’s, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 72.22% in September 2022, and a 40.91% drop over August 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 7.94% in September 2022, and registered growth of 25%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 7.14% in September 2022, a 43.75% drop from August 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at Bally’s

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in September 2022 with a 61.11% share, which marked a 44.2% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 38.1%, registering a 6.67% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 0.79% share and a 75% drop over August 2022.

The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 50% share in September 2022, a 36.36% decline over August 2022. Canada featured next with a 34.92% share, up 12.82% over the previous month. Malta recorded a 7.14% share, a decline of 52.63% compared with August 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Bally’s IT hiring activity in September 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 84.13%, down by 24.82% from August 2022. Entry Level positions with a 9.52% share, a flat growth compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 6.35% share, down 76.47% over August 2022.
