The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 24.47% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.
Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 5.06% share in February 2022, recording an increase of 2.12% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in China’s travel & tourism industry’s IT recruitment activity in February 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s travel & tourism industry in February 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 78.41% in February 2022, registering a 46.81% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 10.23% share, an increase of 12.5% over the previous month.
3) Computer Support Specialists held a share of 4.55%, registering a flat growth from January 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 3.41%, up 200% over the previous month.
Top five travel & tourism companies in China’s IT recruitment activity in February 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 54.9% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s travel & tourism industry during February 2022 over January 2022.
The Walt Disney posted 61 IT jobs in February 2022 and registered a rise of 48.78% over the previous month, followed by Trip Group with 6 jobs and a 500% growth. A.P. Moller – Maersk with 5 IT jobs and Guangdong Huatie Tongda High-speed Railway Equipment with 4 jobs, recorded a 25% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while InterContinental Hotels Group recorded an increase of 200% with 3 job postings during February 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in February 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 71.59%, up by 53.66% from January 2022. Mid Level positions with a 19.32% share, registered an increase of 13.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 9.09% share, up 300% over January 2022.
