The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 8.56% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 3.9% share in the company’s total hiring activity in April 2022, and recorded a 0.05% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Deutsche Bahn IT hiring in April 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Deutsche Bahn, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 64% in April 2022, and a 5.88% drop over March 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 18% in April 2022, and registered growth of 200%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 8% in April 2022, a 50% drop from March 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at Deutsche Bahn

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in April 2022 with an 80% share, which marked a 4.76% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 10%, registering a 150% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 10% share and a 64.29% drop over March 2022.

Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 66% share in April 2022, a 6.45% growth over March 2022. US featured next with an 8% share, up 100% over the previous month. The UK recorded an 8% share, an increase of 33.33% compared with March 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Deutsche Bahn IT hiring activity in April 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 78% growth from March 2022. Mid Level positions with a 10% share, a decline of 44.44% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 10% share, down 50% over March 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 2%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
