The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 1.2% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 3.99% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2021, and recorded a 0.28% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Deutsche Bahn IT hiring in October 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Deutsche Bahn, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 60% in October 2021, and an 18.42% rise over September 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 16% in October 2021, and registered growth of 50%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 13.33% in October 2021, a 42.86% rise from September 2021.
Europe drives IT hiring at Deutsche Bahn
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in October 2021 with an 81.33% share, which marked a 19.61% rise over the previous month.
North America stood next with 13.33%, registering a 100% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 5.33% share and a 42.86% drop over September 2021.
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 73.33% share in October 2021, a 30.95% growth over September 2021. US featured next with a 13.33% share, up 100% over the previous month. Poland recorded a 5.33% share, a decline of 33.33% compared with September 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Deutsche Bahn IT hiring activity in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 68%, up by 8.51% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 21.33% share, a growth of 60% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 8% share, up 20% over September 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 2.67%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
