IT jobs claimed an 18.04% share in the company’s total hiring activity in December 2021, and recorded a 0.9% growth over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Deutsche Lufthansa, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 63.83% in December 2021, and a 7.14% rise over November 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 19.15% in December 2021, and registered a decline of 47.06%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 8.51% in December 2021, a 50% drop from November 2021.

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in December 2021 with a 93.62% share, which marked a 21.43% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 6.38%, registering a 50% month-on-month growth.
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with an 82.98% share in December 2021, a 9.3% decline over November 2021. India featured next with a 6.38% share, up 50% over the previous month. Italy recorded a 4.26% share, an increase of 100% compared with November 2021.

Junior Level jobs held a share of 95.74%, down by 8.16% from November 2021. Entry Level positions with a 4.26% share, a decline of 80% compared with the previous month.
