The industry’s overall hiring increased by 29.17% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.

Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 14.14% share in April 2022, recording an increase of 2.24% over the last three-month average share.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 80.95% in April 2022, registering a 264.29% growth over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 7.94% share, an increase of 100% over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 7.94%, registering a 42.86% rise from March 2022.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 1.59% growth over the previous month.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands travel & tourism industry during April 2022 over March 2022.

Booking Holdings posted 106 IT jobs in April 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by NS Groep with 18 jobs and a 35.71% drop. Uber Technologies with 1 IT job and Air France-KLM with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and an 85.71% decrease.

Junior Level job postings dominate in April 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 80.95%, up by 155% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with a 16.67% share, registered an increase of 950% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 2.38% share, up 50% over March 2022.
