The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 0.88% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 16.19% share in the company’s total hiring activity in March 2022, and recorded a 0.37% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops The Walt Disney IT hiring in March 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by The Walt Disney, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 76.27% in March 2022, and a 33.24% drop over February 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 7.91% in March 2022, and registered a decline of 19.35%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 6.96% in March 2022, an 8.33% drop from February 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at The Walt Disney

North America emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in March 2022 with a 74.37% share, which marked a 3.52% rise over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 19.94%, registering a 69.27% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 5.38% share and a 6.25% rise over February 2022.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 0.32% and a month-on-month flat growth.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 74.37% share in March 2022, a 6.82% growth over February 2022. India featured next with a 14.56% share, down 64.06% over the previous month. China recorded a 4.11% share, a decline of 81.43% compared with February 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead The Walt Disney IT hiring activity in March 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 56.96%, down by 33.82% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 30.38% share, a decline of 22.58% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.66% share, down 23.08% over February 2022.
