A year-on-year growth of 414.2% in international arrivals in 2022 is expected to make Saudi Arabia the fastest growing destination in the Middle East, forecasts GlobalData. According to GlobalData’s traveller demands & flows database, Kuwait, Pakistan and India are expected to be the largest source markets for Saudi Arabia in 2022.

2. Bahrain: Year-on-year growth (165.1%)

According to GlobalData’s traveller demands & flows database, Bahrain will be the second fastest growing destination in the Middle East, recording a year-on-year growth of 165.1% in international arrivals. GlobalData predicts that Saudi Arabia, India and Kuwait will be the largest source markets for Bahrain in 2022.

3. Jordan: Year-on-year growth (163.7%)

GlobalData forecasts that Jordan will see a year-on-year growth of 163.7% in international arrivals in 2022, making it the third fastest growing destination in the Middle East. According to GlobalData’s traveller demands & flows database, Saudi Arabia, Palestinian Territory, Occupied and Iraq are forecast to be the largest source markets in 2022.
