3. Italy – 50.1 million arrivals

Expected to welcome 50.1 million international arrivals in 2022, Italy will be the third most popular destination in Europe, according to GlobalData. Germany, France and The UK are forecast to be the largest source markets for Italy in 2022.

4. Germany – 29.6 million arrivals
