Hospitality management service company Benchmark Pyramid has taken over the management of Pittsburgh Airport Marriott hotel.

Located at 777 Aten Road, the pet-friendly hotel has reopened following a multi-million-dollar renovation of its 318 rooms in July 2021.

The property is within a five-mile radius of Robert Morris University, Robinson Mall, various Fortune 500 companies and more than 75 dining destinations.

Pittsburgh Airport Marriott provides meeting rooms, complimentary fitness centre with indoor pool, complimentary guest parking and Wi-Fi in guest rooms.

The hotel’s Runner Stone Mill House Restaurant and Bar, located in the lobby, serves a full range of American fare, specialty cocktails and craft beerst, as well as Starbucks.

Benchmark Pyramid CEO Warren Fields said: “As we progress further away from the limitations imposed by the pandemic, owners are looking for experienced operators to improve bottom lines that have stagnated or even plummeted over the past few years.

“Collectively, our executive team has weathered multiple downturns, uniquely positioning Benchmark Pyramid to help hoteliers chart a return to profitability.

“We now operate three hotels in the greater Pittsburgh metro area and five overall in Pennsylvania, granting us invaluable market insights we will utilise immediately to benefit this hotel.”

With Pittsburgh Airport Marriott, Benchmark Pyramid has added the 29th hotel to its US portfolio of third-party managed properties.

The company was formed by the merger of two US hotel management companies Benchmark Global Hospitality and Pyramid Hotel Group last year.

It has more than 240 properties in the US, Caribbean and Europe.
