Hospitality company Hilton has announced an exclusive partnership with mental health company Calm to provide guests with improved wellness-related services.

Set to launch in March 2025, the collaboration will integrate Calm’s content into Hilton’s proprietary Connected Room Experience technology.

Guests will have complimentary access to guided meditations, sleep stories, calming soundscapes, and mindfulness exercises through their in-room TV.

The annual value of the global consumer wellness market has grown to $1.8tn while the US market alone expanding by 10% year-over-year to $480bn.

This data, outlined in the McKinsey Future of Wellness Report from November 2024, highlights the increasing demand for wellness-focused services.

Sleep is particularly an area of focus, with 82% of US consumers prioritising wellness and sleep as the second-highest unmet need in health and wellness.

Known for its app that promotes sleep, meditation, and relaxation, Calm features science-backed content aimed at reducing stress and improving sleep and mental clarity.

Through this partnership, Calm’s impact will broaden, making wellness resources more accessible globally.

Hilton’s Connected Room technology, already implemented in more than 2,400 hotels worldwide, allows guests to customise their stay experience, from adjusting room settings to streaming their preferred content.

The addition of Calm’s wellness offerings to this technology continues Hilton’s history of innovation, which includes advancements such as Digital Key and Confirmed Connecting Rooms, as well as health-focused concepts.
