InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has entered into a partnership with Tanmiyat Real Estate to rebrand M Doha Hotel as Crowne Plaza Doha West Bay in August this year.

IHG  plans to expand Crowne Plaza brand across the region.

This property will be the seventh IHG hotel and second Crowne Plaza hotel in the city of Doha, Qatar.

IHG India, Middle East & Africa managing director Pascal Gauvin said : “We are excited to be partnering with an esteemed developer and investor like Tamniyat Real Estate in launching our second Crowne Plaza hotel in the city.

Crowne Plaza Doha will have 317 rooms, eight meeting rooms and an executive lounge, besides an outdoor pool, and a gym. It has easy access to financial, shopping and diplomatic districts besides being  just within 20km from Hamad International Airport.

The rebranded hotel will also feature five food and beverage outlets as well as Indian celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s restaurant.
