The Jamul Indian Village Development Corporation (JIVDC), a subsidiary of the Jamul Indian Village Tribe (a federally recognised sovereign Indian nation in the US) has announced the expansion of the Jamul Casino with a boutique hotel in Jamul, California.

The 16-storey hotel will feature 200 guest rooms, including 52 suites and a six-storey parking tower with 350 parking spots.

Guests visiting the casino will have direct access to the hotel via a climate-controlled, covered sky bridge.

The hotel will feature a 4,800ft² restaurant in the lobby, meeting and event space, a spa and salon with an outdoor deck, a fitness centre, an 11,000ft² rooftop pool deck with a jetted hot tub and a rooftop bar. It is expected to provide guests with a new curated collection of leisure experiences.

Jamul Casino president and general manager Mary Cheeks said: “The hotel will allow Jamul Casino to build on its success in Southern California’s highly competitive gaming market. Our guests have overwhelmingly cited a hotel as their most-desired new development.

“The hotel, rooftop pool deck and lounge and other new amenities will offer our guests a new set of experiences as a luxurious retreat in the beautiful Jamul landscape.”
