Lighthouse, a commercial platform for the travel and hospitality industry, has acquired marketing personalisation technology company The Hotels Network.

This move is set to integrate Lighthouse’s commercial intelligence with The Hotels Network’s AI-driven marketing technology.

Established in 2015, the Hotels Network collaborates with more than 20,000 hotels in over 100 countries, encompassing brands such as One&Only Resorts, Minor Hotels, H World International, and Preferred Hotels & Resorts.

The company is said to have demonstrated success by delivering an average increase of 32% in direct bookings for its hotel partners.

Lighthouse CEO Sean Fitzpatrick said: “The Hotels Network team has built exceptional technology that helps hotels drive direct bookings through personalised marketing and conversion optimisation.

“By integrating the marketing capabilities from The Hotels Network with the existing market demand and pricing data in the Lighthouse platform, we’re enabling hotels to transform market intelligence into personalised guest booking experiences that grow revenue through direct channels.”

Personalised offers and marketing messages are increasingly vital for hoteliers aiming to improve the digital guest experience and direct revenue.

The Hotels Network offers a platform that merges predictive personalisation, integrated pricing data, and cross-channel marketing capabilities in a cloud-based technology.

Utilising predictive algorithms, real-time user behaviour, and proprietary AI agents such as KITT, The Hotels Network empowers hoteliers to attract, involve, and convert guests from the outset.

The Hotels Network founder and CEO Juanjo Rodriguez said: “Joining Lighthouse accelerates our mission of helping hotels worldwide to maximise their direct channel potential.

“Our combined AI capabilities and commercial intelligence will give hoteliers a powerful edge to elevate their direct booking strategies to capture more revenue.”

Lighthouse is dedicated to enhancing its commercial platform by investing in solutions that address the commercial needs of leading hotels globally.

The incorporation of The Hotels Network will add to Lighthouse’s suite of services, which encompass business intelligence, pricing intelligence, benchmarking, and parity management, among other capabilities tailored for hospitality commercial teams.

In November 2024, Lighthouse secured a growth investment of approximately $370m in a Series C investment round to transform how commercial strategies are developed within the travel and hospitality technology market.
