Hospitality software solutions provider Agilysys has announced the implementation of its hospitality solutions at Mohegan INSPIRE Entertainment Resort in South Korea.

The deployment of solutions on a unified cloud-based platform is expected to optimise operations and enhance revenue opportunities.

The integrated Agilysys hospitality technology solutions aim to deliver operational efficiency and analytical insights, enabling superior experiences for both staff and guests.

These solutions include property management systems (PMS) and point of sale (POS) systems, which have supported hotel and food and beverage operations at the property since December 2023.

These solutions expanded to support gaming and non-gaming patrons with the opening of the property’s casino last month.

Mohegan Global IT Services and Support vice-president John Ware said: “Agilysys has a long track record of implementing integrated hospitality technology on a grand scale.

“I expect that these solutions will allow us to understand each guest at an individual level and engage each of them in a personalised way throughout their stay.”

Agilysys’ implementation experts collaborated with the INSPIRE team to configure and deploy these solutions.

Besides PMS and POS, the solutions are live for booking, dining reservations, service management, mobile food and beverage ordering, and document imaging.

Meanwhile, solutions for mobile check-in and check-out, as well as loyalty and promotions management, are to be deployed soon.

Agilysys president and CEO Ramesh Srinivasan said: “Taking such a broad array of solutions – including our modern state-of-the-art PMS platform – live at the scale and diversity Inspire Korea requires marks a meaningful milestone for Agilysys in the Asia-Pacific region.”

Mohegan INSPIRE Korea spans nearly 500,000m² and has a five-star hotel with three towers and 1,275 rooms.

It also has what is said to be South Korea’s first 15,000-seat multi-purpose arena, a glass-domed water park, and the largest hotel ballroom in the country.

The resort also features a 20,000m² casino for international visitors, a 150m-long digital entertainment street, and a variety of commercial facilities offering shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Among the future plans for the resort include a 1,000-seat food court, an immersive media art exhibition centre, and an indoor children’s playground.

Located near Incheon International Airport, Mohegan INSPIRE is within reach of Seoul and accessible by a four-hour flight from many Asian countries.

This January, Grand Casino Hotel Resort in the US invested in Agilysys‘ hospitality-focused technology to improve return on experience.
