Archipelago International , an Indonesia-based international hotel group, has announced plans to open three more Alana properties in Yogyakarta, Solo, and Sentul, Bogor.

The announcement follows the success of Indonesia’s first Alana property in Surabaya.

As part of the plan, the group will launch The Alana Hotel & Residence in Mataram City, Yogyakarta in September.

Comprising 269 rooms and suites, the hotel will feature seven meeting rooms, a coffee shop, a lounge, an outdoor swimming pool, a spa and a gym, as well as a grand ballroom capable of accommodating up to 1,600 people.

In Solo, the upcoming The Alana Adi Sucipto will be located on Jalan Adi Sucipto, just ten minutes from the Adi Sumarmo International airport.

It will feature 248 rooms and suites, five meeting rooms, a coffee shop, a swimming pool and kid’s pool as well as a gym, spa and a ballroom for up to 800 guests. It is slated to open in mid 2015.

In Sentul, the Alana Ah Poong Sentul hotel will be located 20 minutes from the centre of Bogor, as well as in close proximity to Sentul’s Jungle Land Adventurer Theme Park.

"We are continuing to move forward and we are very confident with the opening of these three new locations."

Archipelago International’s sales and marketing VP Norbert Vas said that Alana has become a real success story following the first Alana hotel in Surabaya.

"With this success, we are continuing to move forward and we are very confident with the opening of these three new locations.

"We are so confident about the future of tourism and conference demand in Yogyakarta, Solo and Sentul, that we are adding more of our brands to these burgeoning cities. Harper Mangkubumi will open in Yogyakarta later this year, while Sentul City will see the opening of both the Aston Sentul Lake Resort & Convention Center as well as quest Hotel Sentul," Vas added.

Archipelago International operates more than 75 hotels and 12,000 rooms. It has a development pipeline exceeding 90 properties in Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia.
