The Hilton Arlington Hotel, located in Texas, US, has announced that its multimillion-dollar renovation is on track to be completed by 17 March.
The Hilton Arlington Hotel, which is owned and operated by Interstate Hotels & Resorts, has renovated all 308 guestrooms and suites, public corridors, lobby, meeting and event space, exterior facade, fitness and business centres, restaurant and executive lounge.
The redesign integrates the recently launched global repositioning and design of the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand portfolio, along with incorporating the brand’s earthy design palette of blue, brown and beige hues throughout the overall aesthetic.
The renovated guestrooms in the hotel feature all new flooring, bedding, wall treatments, artwork and 42in high-definition televisions.
Each guest room includes new workspaces, which hold the space and plug-in capabilities needed to create a temporary office, while standard room amenities comprise complimentary basic Wi-Fi, On-Demand movies, web-TV, mini refrigerator, new iHome alarm clocks, and a laptop-sized safe.
The new lobby of the hotel, which includes a Hilton Connectivity Lounge, features accessible technology, contemporary food and beverage offerings and an adaptable environment for community engagement.
Additionally, the hotel features a completely renovated 11,000ft² of meeting space, all-new business and fitness centres and redesigned HHonors Lounge.
Hilton Arlington Hotel general manager James Shandor said that 2014 has been an incredible year of change for the Hilton Arlington.
"From their arrival into a refreshingly new, open lobby concept to ending the day in our new guestroom accommodations that feature contemporary work spaces, the Hilton Arlington guest will leave feeling accomplished and well rested," Shandor added.
In March 2014, The Hilton Arlington is also launching a new restaurant concept, R Bar & Grill, which will feature ingredients from local purveyors such as Dallas Mozzarella, Jimmy’s Food Store, Veldhuizen Farms, Massimo Bakery and Gloria’s Tortilla’s.
